Our Floating Scaffold Pontoons can create safe access to the underside of bridges for repair works, or position the floating scaffold alongside a waterfront building for maintenance works.

Floating Scaffold Pontoon Services
FPS’s modular floating pontoons are often favoured due to their quick mobilisation times and versatility. We have our own in-house PASMA trained operatives, that have a wealth of experience erecting the scaffolding on water. We can offer a full marine support package to include a site team to remain on site throughout the duration of the works, including safety equipment and work boats.
Securing Your Scaffolding
The pontoons offer the perfect platform upon which to house scaffold towers and scaffolding systems. The surface of the pontoon provides a flat firm surface upon which the legs of scaffold towers can be mounted. We are also able to install tie down points on the deck of the pontoon to physically secure the scaffolding platform down to the pontoon itself.
Installation
Depending on your access and the design of your required pontoon we are able to deliver ready-made slabs on our flat-bed vehicles, assembling on site by craning into location – our aim is to deliver and install the pontoon quickly and efficiently without compromising safety.
Stability
The moored pontoon is substantial enough for there to be almost zero movement while working at height over flat water. On moving waterways, our experts will advise whether this solution is viable following a site visit to your project.

Assembly & Dismantling
We have experienced and qualified operatives, from the assembly of a floating pontoon to the erection of a scaffold tower, There will be few challenges they have not already come across!
Extra Equipment
We can supply additional equipment from outboard motors, tower scaffolds, life rings, throw lines, life jackets and debris booms, please ask if you have any specific requirements.
