We are able to mobilise our safety boats for hire quickly and efficiently, and can work on almost any UK waterway.
All our boats are trailered and so can be deployed quickly and easily, even when access is difficult or restricted. We even have trailers with hiabs to enable us to lift boats into the water, and boats that are small enough to be carried and launched by hand.

Safety Boat
We are able to supply commercial safety boats for a wide range of projects from on-water installations and contract works such as scaffolding erection and bridge inspections through to flood barrier repairs and environmental surveys.
As part of our safety boat hire services, as standard, all our boats come with a competent and qualified helm; however additional crew can also be provided as and where required. We offer this service 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, We also offer bareboat hire if you do not require an operator with the safety boat.
Work Boat Hire
Our work boats for hire come in different shapes and sizes from smaller robust plastic boats up to larger more robust rigid hull boats for use on construction sites and marine engineering projects. All our boats have powerful outboard engines to ensure they have sufficient ‘grunt’ for the required operation.
We have work boats available to operate on inland waterways and inshore – Often our work boats are hired on a bareboat basis, meaning you operate the boat yourself, but they can also be supplied with qualified and competent crew if required.
Media & Filming Boat Hire
FPS can provide media boat hire for filming purposes with a range of boats available. We’ve provided filming boat hire for a large number of well known production companies and organisations over recent years for TV, music videos, feature films, PR shoots and corporate videos.
All our media boats come with qualified & experience crew, who’ll be able to discuss your exact requirements with you on the ground. All safety equipment, including life jackets, will be provided with the boat, as standard, for all persons on-board.

A site specific set of RAMS and a rescue plan will be provided and followed.
All our craft operatives are RYA level 2 powerboat qualified and experienced boat handlers.

Our teams are equipped and trained to operate from bank or beach, on mud, through vegetation, in shallow wading water, on deep slow water or fast flowing water.
More Than A Toe Dipped In The Water?
That’s why we’ve several styles and size of boat, specifically chosen depending on the size and nature of the water to be covered. Anyone who’s mistakenly (ahem!) taken a dip in the water will be rescued promptly.

We have experienced and qualified operatives, from the assembly of a floating pontoon to the erection of a scaffold tower, There will be few challenges they have not already come across!
Extra Equipment
We can supply additional equipment from outboard motors, tower scaffolds, life rings, throw lines, life jackets and debris booms, please ask if you have any specific requirements.
