Faced with trying to seek a suitable location where FPS could unload their pontoon into the water, this seemed an almost impossible task due to parking restrictions in Manchester City Centre. However, with FPS’s ‘never say never attitude’, they unloaded the pontoon into the Manchester Ship Canal two miles downstream and towed it upstream to the required location in the City using their safety boat.
