After an arduous journey navigating the mountainous roads in the Brecon Beacons, FPS eventually arrived at their destination. This new job was to install a 50m pontoon walkway at the bottom of a near empty reservoir to allow engineers to pump out the silt accumulated over many years. However, this project can only be described as strenuous, as due to vehicle restrictions we had to park away from the reservoir resulting in man-handling the pontoon over 120m, but additionally, the pontoon then had to be taken down 140 steps to the reservoir floor. After 7 hours, FPS finally completed the install and are waiting for the reservoir to fill back up before the collection is made!!!
