Faced with a difficult task of refurbishing a swimming pool ceiling, A local leisure centre approached FPS pontoon hire to understand if we could help them without having to empty the pool. As due to the tight timescales, it was not an option to empty the pool, and never one to say no, we offered a solution that comprised of a pontoon spanning the whole width of the pool with a 10m wide tower scaffold. This is allowing the decorators and electricians to access all areas above the water and is proving to be very efficient, extremely cost effective and will allow the work to be undertaken in as little as 4 weeks at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods. It was also a nice change for FPS employees to be working indoors during these cold times of the year!!!
